Getting The Love You Want:
The Imago Couples Workshop
Presented
by The Wissahickon Center for Relationship Therapy
"This
workshop consists of five processes: re-imaging your partner, restoring empathy, restructuring frustrations, renewing romance and re-visioning the future.
The weekend is composed of a carefully constructed blend of educational lectures and films, group discussions, self-exploration and writing work. You will learn new skills - ways to communicate that will allow you to truly see and hear each other with compassion, to melt anger and move through conflict to a place of profound connection and compassion. A significant portion of the workshop is spent practicing these new tools with your partner. While you are invited to share your insights and experiences within the larger group, all such sharing is optional."

- Whatever
Happened to Sex Since I Turned 40?
Do you ever feel like your sexual desire has disappeared since nearing or reaching menopause? Do you worry that your relationship may be suffering because sex isn't as interesting to you as it once was? Come to a program designed just for you! We will be discussing the problem and presenting solutions to this very common issue for women.
- Sexual
Enrichment Workshop (Level 1)
This is
the hallmark course for exploring attitudes, beliefs, and
knowledge
about human sexuality. Senior CFR staff have taught this
course for over 30 years. The goal of this workshop is to
help participants explore their attitudes, feelings, and
beliefs about sexuality and to understand how our life
experiences impact how we relate to one another. The goals
include providing a safe place to think and talk about
sexuality, to become aware and express feelings about
sexuality and examine issues about body image; to improve
communication skills in regard to expressing sexual needs
and desires; and to learn ways to increase intimacy and
fun. The learning process for this course will include
voluntary participation in lecture, small and large group
discussions; viewing educational films; and role plays by
course instructors.
- Love,
Sex, and Romance: Introduction
This 2-hour
workshop will introduce you to the stages of love in
intimate relationships and to the chemistry of romantic
love. The emphasis of this workshop is to establish goals
for improving romance, intimacy, and commitment.
- Love,
Sex and Romance: The Basics
This one-day (6 hour) workshop will address
the dimensions of love, the chemistry of romantic love,
biological and emotional differences between men and
women, and the steps to creating a passionate partnership.
- Rekindling
the Spark:
Love and Intimacy in Emotionally Committed
Relationships
This one-day (6 hour) workshop will explore
the stages of a relationship and the deepening of love in
committed relationships to go beyond the dampening of
desire in contemporary marriages. Too often our sexuality
is an unrefined and undeveloped element of our personality
and intimate partnership. In this workshop we explore
troublesome attitudes and inhibitions that interfere with
sexual and sensual expression and fulfillment.
